The Last Age of Laodicea and The Self-Centeredness of Churchanity: by Pam Sheppard

Within the charismatic churches that I have attended, our whole lives revolved around going to services to get “more anointing,” “sowing seed,” seeking more & more euphoric experiences, always trying to get God to heal our “past wounds.”

Why didn’t we spend all that time & energy helping others, feeding the hungry, visiting the sick, things outside ourselves? What was the point of soaking up all that so-called anointing if we weren’t gonna do anything with it besides stumbling around drunk on it?

We are the church age at Laodicea.  We are more than self centered.  We are self consumed. Its all about me, me, me. Gimme, gimme, gimme!!! More, more, more. Pay attention to me or I will lose my mind and have a hissy fit!!!

I’ve got a question.  When you stop and listen to to your mind, what or who are you thinking about???
